If you require from LAEXOTICA Kennels to hold on to your puppy beyond the agreed upon release date, each week will incur a fee of $ 100 paid up front to the breeder and the buyer is responsible for all vet costs after the release date. LAEXOTICA kennels prefers not to keep the puppies longer than 8 weeks as it is best for the new owner to begin the bonding process with the pup.

The breeder will provide the buyer with preliminary veterinary vaccinations and will advise when a follow up vaccination should take place as requested by Australian National Kennel Council protocol or rules and the South Australian Canine Association code of ethics. Recommended care and feeding instructions will also be provided to the buyer to follow up.

The new owner is responsible for the health and welfare of their new puppy and all Vet costs once the puppy is released. As with all dogs, they can be hit with health problems. This is an unfortunate and unforeseen rare circumstance of owning any dog.

Any new owner has the right and until:

1. within 48 hours of receiving the puppy; to take the puppy to their vet of choice for a health check (at buyer’s expense) please note that if the puppy has diarrhea or is not eating beyond this 48 hours LAEXOTICA Kennels assumes no responsibility as many factors could have contributed to these after the release date and in his new environment

2. when the puppy is12 weeks old; to take the puppy to their vet of choice (at buyer’s expense) for a health check and the respective vaccinations boost

To let us know if there is any life threatening health issues with your dogs. As unfortunate as this is, LAEXOTICA Kennels is more than happy to discuss the return of the dog.

In the event the puppy or dog is not in good health within the time frames stipulated above, and only after the illness has been verified by 2 separate Vets stating so (at buyer’s expense; These measure prevents owners from returning unwanted pets) this means that after 2 examinations if puppy or dog has unforseen health issues percluding it from a normal life and upon the return of the pup or dog to the breeder; and only after the breeder’s veterinary corroboration, LAEXOTICA Kennels is more than happy refund in full or to replace the puppy or dog with another puppy of similar quality, sex and colour; providing the puppy has not been dropped or injured.

In the event there is no puppy available, the buyer will have to wait for the next to be born. The puppy is not returnable for any other reason or condition this is a final sale.

LAEXOTICA KENNELS WILL ONLY REPLACE THE AFFECTED PUPPY, NO MONEY WILL BE REFUNDED WHATSOEVER. The puppy will only be replaced if two individual vets of the buyer and the breeder’s vet verify that health problems or hereditary issues threaten the life and the future of the puppy. LAEXOTICA Kennels is not responsible for any vet bills once the puppy or dog is under the care of the new owner for any reason. If the owner wants to keep the dog under their own care they are solely responsible for any associated costs once the dog is in their possession.

After the release date LAEXOTICA Kennels will lodge with the Canine Association the registration of the litter; please note that sometimes it might take longer than expected as all new owners need to provide the required information before lodging it, in the event that no name is supplied to LAEXOTICA Kennels for the puppy upon release date, LAEXOTICA Kennels will randomly choose one.

Once litter registration lodged all new owners will receive their pedigree papers. Please be patient as we try to deal with much diligence as possible but any mistake or rushing of the process can result in missing pedigree papers for the new owners.

It is acknowledged that the buyer is buying from LAEXOTICA Kennels a quality pet/companion/new member of the family which would be individually beautiful, as we are constantly striving for excellence for the betterment of the breed; and not a breeding dog as LAEXOTICA lines are not open for breeding. All pedigree papers will come on limited registration.
